AN ACT TO AMEND AND CONSOLIDATE THE ACTS RELATING TO THE OFFICE OF PORT WARDEN FOR THE HARBOUR OF MONTREAL

Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Transport, pursuant to sections 28 and 33Footnote * of An Act to amend and consolidate the Acts relating to the office of Port Warden for the Harbour of MontrealFootnote **, is pleased hereby to approve the repeal of the Montreal Port Warden’s Tariff of Fees Order, approved by Order in Council P.C. 1985-3546 of December 5, 1985Footnote ***, and to approve the annexed Order establishing the tariff of fees and charges to be paid to the Port Warden of the Harbour of Montreal for services performed by the Port Warden or any Deputy Port Warden, made by the Council of the Board of Trade at the City of Montreal, on the recommendation of the Board of Examiners, in substitution therefor.

Short Title

 This Order may be cited as the Montreal Port Warden’s Tariff of Fees Order (1988).

Fees and Charges

 The fees and charges set out in column II of an item of the schedule shall be paid for the services specified in column I of that item and are due from the master or owner of a vessel at the time the services are performed.
