Quebec Sheep Marketing Levies (Interprovincial and Export Trade) Order

Les Éleveurs d’ovins du Québec, formerly known as the Office des producteurs d’agneaux et de moutons du Québec, pursuant to sections 3 and 4 of the Quebec Sheep and Wool OrderFootnote a, makes the annexed Quebec Sheep Marketing Levies (Interprovincial and Export Trade) Order.

Interpretation

 In this Order, producer means a person who raises or produces sheep on their own behalf or on behalf of another person or offers sheep for sale.

Levies

 Every producer shall pay to the Board, for each sheep sold by the producer in interprovincial and international trade, the levies fixed or imposed in the following regulations, as amended from time to time:

  • (a) Règlement sur les contributions des producteurs d’ovins, RLRQ, c. M-35.1, r. 242;

  • (b) Plan conjoint des producteurs d’ovins du Québec, RLRQ, c. M-35.1, r. 245; and

  • (c) Règlement sur la vente en commun des agneaux lourds, RLRQ, c. M-35.1, r. 246.

Coming into Force

 This Order comes into force on the day on which it is registered.
