His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Finance, pursuant to subsection 978(1)Footnote a and section 1005Footnote b of the Bank ActFootnote c, hereby makes the annexed Exemption for Public Notices or Documents (Banks and Bank Holding Companies) Regulations.

Interpretation

 In these Regulations, Act means the Bank Act.

Exemption Circumstances

 For the purpose of section 1005 of the Act, the prescribed circumstances are that the exemption does not prejudice any of the shareholders or the public interest.

Coming into Force

 These Regulations come into force on June 1, 2011.
