Order Assigning to the Minister of the Environment the Administration of Certain Public Lands (SI/98-103)

Whereas the Governor in Council is satisfied that the public lands described in the annexed schedule are required for wildlife research, conservation or interpretation;

Therefore, His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of the Environment, pursuant to subsection 4(1)Footnote ^a of the Canada Wildlife ActFootnote ^b, hereby

• (a) assigns to the Minister of the Environment the administration of the public lands described in Part 1 of the annexed schedule;

• (b) amends Schedule I to Order in Council P.C. 1980-1480 of June 5, 1980Footnote ^c, in accordance with section 1 of Part 2 of the annexed schedule; and

• (c) amends the schedule to Order in Council P.C. 1981-1373 of May 28, 1981Footnote ^d, in accordance with section 2 of Part 2 of the annexed schedule.
