Order Designating the Minister of Health to Be the Minister for the Purposes of the Physical Activity and Sport Act in Respect of Physical Activity and the Minister of State (Sport) to Be the Minister for the Purposes of that Act in Respect of Sport (SI/2025-83)

Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, under section 2 of the Physical Activity and Sport ActFootnote ^a,

• Return to footnote ^aS.C. 2003, c. 2

• (a) repeals Order in Council P.C. 2025-427 of March 14, 2025Footnote ^b;

  • Return to footnote ^bSI/2025-46

• (b) designates the Minister of Health, a member of the King’s Privy Council for Canada, to be the Minister for the purposes of the Physical Activity and Sport ActFootnote ^a in respect of physical activity; and

• (c) designates the Minister of State (Sport), a member of the King’s Privy Council for Canada, to be the Minister for the purposes of the Physical Activity and Sport ActFootnote ^a in respect of sport.
