Defence Materiel and Equipment Loaned to Contractors Order (C.R.C., c. 689)

Short Title

1 This Order may be cited as the Defence Materiel and Equipment Loaned to Contractors Order.

Authorization

2 The Minister of National Defence is authorized to lend, on such terms and conditions as he may deem appropriate and in the interests of defence,

• (a) materiel, other than prototypes, sealed samples, models and catering contractor’s equipment, to the Department of Supply and Services for the use of its contractors; and

• (b) prototypes, sealed samples, models and catering contractor’s equipment directly to contractors of the Department of Supply and Services engaged in work for national defence.
