805.01 (1) The holder of an ATS operations certificate shall establish a safety management program that provides for an internal system of oversight to ensure the safe provision of air navigation services.

(2) The manager of the program referred to in subsection (1) shall

• (a) have direct access to the chief executive officer on operational system safety matters;

• (b) conduct risk assessments of current and proposed operational policies, plans and procedures; and

• (c) coordinate the collection and analysis of operational risk-related data.
