Coasting Trade Act

Marginal note:Coming into force

  • Footnote *31 (1) Subject to this section, this Act shall come into force on a day to be fixed by order of the Governor in Council.

  • Marginal note:British ships and ships with coasting trade exemptions

    (2) In the case of any ship that is a British ship or that benefits from an exemption made pursuant to section 595 of the Canada Shipping Act, this Act shall apply to that ship six months after the day on which this Act comes into force.
