Marginal note:Auditors
33 (1) The auditor of the Corporation shall be appointed annually by the Governor in Council and may be removed at any time by the Governor in Council.
Marginal note:Eligibility
(2) No person is eligible to be appointed an auditor unless that person is an accountant who has for at least six years preceding the date of that person’s appointment practised the profession of accountant and is a member in good standing of an institute or association of accountants incorporated under the authority of the legislature of a province.
Marginal note:Vacancy
(3) When any vacancy occurs in the office of the auditor of the Corporation, notice thereof shall forthwith be given by the Corporation to the Governor in Council who thereupon shall appoint some other auditor to fill the vacancy for the remainder of the term of the auditor replaced.
