His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Solicitor General of Canada and the Treasury Board, pursuant to paragraph 19(1)(a)* of the Financial Administration Act, is pleased hereby to make the annexed Regulations prescribing the fees to be paid for criminal record verification for the purposes of licensing or otherwise certifying individuals for employment in an enterprise related to insurance, real estate or securities.S.C. 1991, c. 24, s. 6Short TitleThese Regulations may be cited as the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, Criminal Record Verification for Certain Enterprises Fees Regulations.FeeThe fee to be paid by a provincial agency for the verification of criminal records by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police for the purpose of licensing or otherwise certifying an individual for employment in an enterprise related to insurance, real estate or securities is$5, in respect of the verification of Canadian criminal records; and$60, in respect of the verification of foreign criminal records.
