Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to section 3 of the Invest in Canada Acta, designates the Minister for International Trade, a member of the Queen’s Privy Council for Canada, as the Minister for the purpose of that Act.aS.C. 2017, c. 20, s. 442*This Order comes into force on the day on which sections 442 to 449 of the Budget Implementation Act, 2017, No. 1, chapter 20 of the Statutes of Canada, 2017, come into force, but if this Order is made after that day, it comes into force on the day on which it is made.*[Note: Order in force March 12, 2018, see SI/2018-15.]
