Order Declining to Set Aside or to Refer Back to the CRTC a Decision Respecting Armadale Communications Limited
Whereas the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission rendered Decision CRTC 86-434 on May 8, 1986 issuing a broadcasting licence to Armadale Communications Limited;
Whereas subsequent to the rendering of Decision CRTC 86-434, the Governor General in Council has received a petition requesting that the said Decision CRTC 86-434 be set aside or referred back to the Commission for reconsideration and hearing by the Commission, and has considered this petition;
And Whereas the Governor General in Council is of the opinion that it is not in the public interest to set aside or to refer back to the Commission for reconsideration and hearing by the Commission the said Decision CRTC 86-434;
Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Communications, pursuant to section 23 of the Broadcasting Act, hereby declines to set aside or to refer back to the Commission for reconsideration and hearing by the Commission Decision CRTC 86-434 of May 8, 1986.
