Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Finance, pursuant to section 436.1a of the Bank Actb, hereby makes the annexed Aircraft Objects Regulations.aS.C. 2005, c. 3, s. 10bS.C. 1991, c. 46EXEMPTION

1.Sections 426 to 436 of the Bank Act do not apply to aircraft objects that were not registered under those sections before the day on which these Regulations come into force.

2.Five years after the day on which these Regulations come into force, sections 426 to 436 of the Bank Act cease to apply to aircraft objects that were registered under those sections before that day.

COMING INTO FORCE

*3.These Regulations come into force on the day on which the Aircraft Protocol, as defined in subsection 2(1) of the International Interests in Mobile Equipment (aircraft equipment) Act, chapter 3 of the Statutes of Canada, 2005, comes into force for Canada.*[Note: Regulations in force April 1, 2013, see SI/2013-26.]
