Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Industry, pursuant to paragraph 26(1)(a.01) of the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Acta, hereby makes the annexed Regulations Specifying Investigative Bodies.S.C. 2000, c. 5INVESTIGATIVE BODIESThe following investigative bodies are specified, by name or by class, for the purposes of paragraphs 7(3)(d) and (h.2) of the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act:Investigative Services, a division of Insurance Bureau of Canada;the Bank Crime Prevention and Investigation Office of the Canadian Bankers Association;the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario;the College of Chiropodists of Ontario;the College of Chiropractors of Ontario;the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario;the College of Dental Technologists of Ontario;the College of Denturists of Ontario;the College of Dietitians of Ontario;the College of Massage Model Code for the Protection of Personal Information, as amended from time to time, andthat is a member in good standing of a professional association that represents the interests of private investigators or detectives and that has such a privacy code;a corporation or other bodythat is licensed by a province to engage in the business of providing insurance adjusters and that has a privacy code that is compliant with the Canadian Standards Association Standard CAN/CSA-Q830-96, Model Code for the Protection of Personal Information, as amended from time to time, orthat is a member in good standing of a professional association that represents the interests of insurance or claims adjusters and that has such a privacy code;the Certified General Accountants Association of Alberta;the Certified General Accountants Association of British Columbia;the Certified General Accountants Association of Manitoba;the Certified General Accountants Association of New Brunswick;the Certified
